About DistroPack
Simplifying Linux package distribution for developers worldwide
Our Mission
DistroPack was born from a simple observation: packaging software for Linux distributions shouldn't be a barrier to distribution. We believe developers should focus on building great software, not wrestling with package formats, repository management, and GPG signing.
What We Do
DistroPack is a Software-as-a-Service platform that automates the entire Linux package distribution workflow. We handle:
- Multi-format packaging: Automatically build packages for Debian (.deb), Fedora/RHEL (.rpm), and Arch Linux (.pkg.tar.zst) from a single source
- Repository hosting: We host your packages in properly configured repositories with correct metadata
- GPG signing: Every package and repository is cryptographically signed for security and authenticity
- Multi-architecture support: Build for x86, x64, ARM, and ARM64 architectures
- Automated workflows: Upload once, build everywhere—no manual intervention needed
Supported Platforms
Currently, DistroPack supports Linux distributions:
- Debian & Ubuntu: .deb packages with apt repository support
- Fedora & RHEL: .rpm packages with dnf/yum repository support
- Arch Linux: .pkg.tar.zst packages with pacman repository support
We're actively working on expanding support to macOS (Homebrew) and Windows (Chocolatey/WinGet) in the near future.
